Like
Father, Like Son. God the Father Yahweh and His only begotten Son
Yahshua (aka Jesus) like to reveal truth in stories and parables about
people and their many trials and temptations. They do this so you and I
can relate. Since God is sovereign and rules in the affairs of men and
nations, from generation to generation, He inspired a story to be
written in 1900 for our edification.
One
such story is the book, made into a movie in 1939, titled The Wizard of
Oz starring Judy Garland. If you are of a younger generation, you may
not have seen this movie. I highly recommend you watch this very entertaining
movie as the "veil is lifted." At the time I watched it, I had no clue that it contained a
hidden message inspired by God.
The book was first published in the United States in May 1900 by the
George M. Hill Company. In January 1901, the publishing company
completed printing the first edition, a total of 10,000 copies, which
quickly sold out. It had sold three million copies by the time it
entered the public domain in 1956.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a 1900 children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow. It is the first novel in the Oz series of books. A Kansas farm girl named Dorothy ends up in the magical Land of Oz after she and her pet dog Toto are swept away from their home by a cyclone. Upon her arrival in the magical world of Oz, she learns she cannot return home until she has destroyed the Wicked Witch of the West.
