It Ain't Your Grandfather's America

The pillars of western civilization are breaking down right in front of our eyes. If "reserves" don't mean reserves, and if "money" doesn't mean money, and if home "ownership" doesn't mean ownership, and if the "rule of law" doesn't mean the rule of law, then we have lost the very principles upon which western civilization exists.

Combined with the fact that nearly everything has become FAKE now -- fake news, fake money, fake history, fake education, fake science, fake medicine, fake elections, fake pandemics, fake shootings, fake hate crimes, and worst of all, fake gospel, etc. -- we find ourselves living in a world with no moral compass.

Western civilization, simply put, has committed suicide. There is no longer any glue holding it together. The elections are rigged, the money is counterfeit, the news is deliberately fabricated and the propaganda is absurd. We are living in a nation where a justice on the US Supreme Court (Ketanji Brown Jackson) publicly stated that she has no idea what the definition of a woman might be.

As it is written...

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! ~2 Timothy 3:1-5

Consider The Ant

 

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

Two Different Versions...Two Different Morals

OLD VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:

Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer?

Kermit the Frog appears on CNN with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing,'It's Not Easy Being Green'

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, We shall Overcome.

President Biden condemns the ant and blames President Trump, President Bush, Christopher Columbus, and Capitalism for the grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer exclaim in an interview with Anderson Cooper that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity and Anti-Ant Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant disappears in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once prosperous and peaceful neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

"A nation of lost sheep will beget a government of wolves." 

America has been led astray by wolves in sheep's clothing, and the Pied Piper of "equity and tolerance."

Men, like nations, think they're eternal.  What man in his 20s doesn't believe he'll live forever? In the springtime of youth, endless summers beckon. As you pass 70, it's harder to hide from reality.    

Nations also have seasons: Imagine a Roman of the 2nd century contemplating an empire stretching from Britain to the Near East, thinking: This will endure forever... Forever was about 500 years. France was pivotal in the 17th and 18th centuries; now the land of Charles Martel is on its way to becoming part of the Muslim ummah.

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the sun never set on the British empire; now with the passing of its 96-year-old sovereign, Great Britain is a symbol of a nation in decline. In the 80s, Japan seemed poised to buy the world. Business schools taught Japanese management techniques. Today, its birth rate is so low and the population aging so rapidly an entire industry has sprung up to remove the remains of elderly Japanese who die alone.

Mid-20th century America's prestige and influence were never greater. We saved Europe twice in the 20th century, once from World War I, and then, thanks to the 'Greatest Generation, we won World War II. We reduced Germany to rubble and put the rising sun to bed. Then in an unprecedented humanitarian and economic gesture, used our resources, skills, and technology to rebuild nineteen nations of Europe and the entire nation of Japan.   It set the stage for half a century of unprecedented prosperity and growth.

We stopped the spread of communism in Europe and Asia and fought international terrorism. We rebuilt our enemies and lavished foreign aid on much of the world. We built skyscrapers and began the exploration of space. We conquered Polio and COVID. We explored the mysteries of the Universe and the wonders of DNA.

But where is the glory that once was Rome, England, and France? America today finds itself moving from a relatively free economy to socialism - which has worked so well NOWHERE in the world. Why?

We've gone from a Republic government guided by a Constitution to a regime of revolving elites. We have less freedom with each passing year. Like a signpost to the coming reign of terror, cancel culture is everywhere. We've traded the American Revolution for the Cultural Revolution.

Suddenly, we won’t defend our borders, our history (including monuments to greatness), or our streets. Our cities have become anarchist playgrounds. Crime is rampant.  Drugs like fentanyl, another gift from China, killed over 100,000 young Americans last year. Homeless veterans camp in the streets while illegal aliens are put up in elegant hotels, and given food, healthcare, and cell phones. Over the last two years since Biden took office, over 5.0 million illegal immigrants have entered the U.S. without our consent, with another 500,000 to 600,000 more unaccounted for. A nation without borders is not a nation. The U.S. taxpayer is paying the bill for all of these illegal immigrants.

A President who can't quote the beginning of the Declaration of Independence correctly. Ivy League graduates routinely fail history tests that 5th graders could pass a generation ago. Murders, rapes, burglaries, and car theft rates soar and our President and a complicit media blame the 2nd Amendment and then slash police budgets.

We spend vast amounts of taxpayer money… $369 billion on "climate change." As if the government can control the climate. It can’t even control telemarketing calls. And in a period of inflation, the President thinks hiring 87,000 IRS Agents is a good way to curb costs!

Our culture is certifiably insane. Men pretend they're women, women pretend they‘re men... and demand we pretend with them. And let us not forget those non-binary or genderqueer people who identify not solely male or female‍. God help us! What will we tolerate next? 

People fight racism by seeking to convince members of one race they're inherently evil, and others they are perpetual victims. 

School psychologists, teachers, and doctors encourage students to have gender transformation surgeries and undergo gender hormone therapy without parental consent. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath….”First, do no harm”?

America has allowed the slaughter of the unborn in the name of a “woman’s right to choose” without mention of the life killed in the womb. Our birth rate dips lower year by year. Our national debt is so high we can no longer pretend we will repay it. It's a $31 trillion monument to our refusal to confront reality.  

Our 'entertainment' is sadistic, nihilistic, and as enduring as a candy bar wrapper thrown in the trash. Our music is noise that spans the spectrum from annoying to repulsive.

Patriotism is called insurrection, treason celebrated, and perversion sanctified. Our military and police in uniform get less respect than a man in a dress. We're asking soldiers to fight for a nation in which our leaders no longer believe. And if the best and brightest we recruited to serve in uniform refuse to be injected with the experimental COVID vaccine, they are dismissed from military service and denied their retirement benefits.

How meekly most Americans submitted to Fauci-ism (the regime of face masks, lockdowns, and hand sanitizers). The question posed is… does all of this portend the impending death of the American spirit?  

America was once a great nation made up of great people. Now it’s slipping. How do nations slip from greatness to obscurity?

Fighting endless wars they can't or won't win

Accumulating debt far beyond the ability to repay

Refusing to guard their borders

Surrendering control of their cities to mob rule

Indoctrination rather than education ("correct pronouns" and drag queen shows are more important)

Moving from a Republic form of government to socialism

Indulging laziness

Abandoning faith and family - the bulwarks of social order

In America, these symptoms are pronounced, indicating an advanced stage of disease. We will never get our country back on track. America is past the point of no return. America has forgotten and forsaken the God who blessed America above all nations. Our destiny is sealed.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" ~ Isaiah 5:20

"Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!” ~ Mark 6:11

What will rise from the ashes? As it is written: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” ~ Revelation 11:15

Heavenly Citizenship

 

Characteristics of Citizens of Heaven

What are the qualifications to become a Citizen of Heaven? Any person who repents of sin, believes and confesses that Jesus (Yahshua in the Hebrew language) is the Messiah, and is immersed in baptism. Also must go through the new birth process.  (John 3:1-7, Acts 2:38, Matthew 10:32, Mark 16:16)

Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven. We are not here to seek money, property, popularity, honors, or advantage. We diligently seek and promote the Kingdom of Heaven, trusting God to supply our every need (Matthew 6:33).

Our citizenship is in Heaven. We acknowledge that the Kingdom of Heaven is God's Government and is the only one that is everlasting (Philippians 3:20, Luke 1:33).

Our word is true. We don't swear oaths. Our yes is "yes," and our no is "no" (Matthew 5:37).

Debt Free. We owe no man anything but the continuing debt to love one another (Romans 13:8)

Married until parted by death. There is no divorce and remarriage (Luke 16:18).

Parents instruct their children. They are directly responsible for training them up in the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

Known as a giver, not a taker. We give and it is given back to us in good measure (Luke 6:38).

Love our enemies. We do good to those who hate us. We bless them and pray for them (Matthew 5:44).

No lawsuits. We do not seek courts of law as a remedy for wrongs done (1 Corinthians 6:1-8).

Busy storing treasures in Heaven. Our heart is on the heavenly things, not on earthly treasures (Matthew 6:20).

Slow to anger. We are mild mannered, forgiving one another and willing to be defrauded (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Treat others the way we want to be treated. We put ourselves in the other one's shoes and respond accordingly (Matthew 7:12).

Separate from secular government and man-made holidays. We do not participate in worldly holidays, politics, elections, or debates about their governments (2 Timothy 2:4).

Observe the Commandments and Holy Days as outlined in the Bible. We fear (revere) God and keep His commandments for this is the whole duty of man. (Leviticus 23, Deuteronomy 6:1-3, Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Kingdom Citizens believe the Old and New Testaments. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
