Imagine going to Church your whole life and your name on the Church membership role, but not in the Book of Life. Sitting on a Church pew does not make you a Christian anymore than standing in your garage makes you a car. 

 

Organized religion ("churchanity") is a hospital for sinners and a nursery for baby Christians.

 

What is a Genuine Relationship With Jesus Christ?

A genuine relationship with Jesus Christ requires discipline and maturity. The path to eternal life is a lifelong process which requires knowing, not just believing. Simply listening to a preacher talk about God is not spiritual growth.  

 

Spoon-fed Churchanity teaches that "born again" is instant and one is ""saved" by simply believing. But is that what the Word says?  Even the demons believe...  ~ James 2:19

 

Baby Christians can believe all they want, but nothing happens until they are mature enough to conceive to the Holy Spirit. Jesus was 30 years old before he requested baptism and received the Holy Spirit. ~ Matthew 3:16 

 

Let that sink in. Real Christianity is for mature people who go through the process of spiritual birth.

Organized religion created a counterfeit holiday called Lent which includes the following:

Mardi Gras, (French: Fat Tuesday) festive day celebrated in France and some U.S. cities on Shrove Tuesday (the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday), which marks the close of the pre-Lenten season. The French name Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday, from the custom of using all the fats in the home before Lent in preparation for fasting and abstinence.

The word Shrove: The name comes from the old word 'shriving', which means to listen to someone's sins and forgive them. In Anglo-Saxon England, Christians would go to church on Shrove Tuesday to confess their sins and clean their soul. In other words, they would be 'shriven'.

The first day of Lent is Ash Wednesday. On this special day of reflection, Catholics wear a marking of the cross in ash on their foreheads. The ashes symbolize our mortality – “Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” But you might be wondering, where do the ashes for Ash Wednesday come from? 

Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It's a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter.

Hi, this is Astrø. I approached you at the end of your assembly at noon. Yes, i was crying. 

You really did move me. I used to slit my wrists nightly. I'm only clean because my mom threw away my razors when she found them. An hour before your assembly I ordered pencil sharpeners and some rope. I was planning my suicide for some time, my day was going to be March 1st. At your assembly, I realized that I should give life a second chance.

I have an eating disorder and multiple mental health issues and my mind tells me I'm better off dead. I've had multiple attempts in the past but nothing worked. I tried an entire bottle of Advil, I've tried scratching open my neck, I've tried hanging, I've tried eating batteries. Nothing worked. I've been through so much. Sexual assault, abusive relationships, bullying, addiction. I've always seen my life as a joke, like I'm just here for comic relief. I make jokes a lot, so everyone takes everything I say as a joke. Including my mental health issues I discuss. 

My parents took me to Universal and Disney to celebrate my one year out of the Psych ward. It turned into complete chaos when I said I wanted to eat by myself because I hate eating around others. I tried to kill myself when we got back from the trip. Tried waterboarding myself. Didn't work. and honestly, I'm glad it didn't.

I'm three months clean of self harm, and I'm going to stay clean. Thank you. You saved me.

The above email is why it is vital Churches invite Bob when he is doing a school event in their area. Bob is restricted to a secular message in public schools. Bob needs the Church renting a high school gym under the equal access law in order for thousands of young people in your community to come to an evening rally where Bob plays the teams for the community, then preaches a powerful message about the cross.

THESE KIDS NEED THE LORD IN THEIR HEARTS OR THERE IS NO HOPE.

That's only one of hundreds of emails Bob receives after every event. I'm happy to see the response that young people are making in this dark evil day and I would like you to know that Bob shares the love of Christ with these lost children. With your support, Bob can reach thousands more.

Bob's Reply to Astro

Dear Astro,

Let me begin by telling you I am so sorry for all you have been through in your young and precious life! I hurt for you! You and thousands like you are the very reason I continue visiting schools. 

YOU MATTER AND YOUR LIFE MATTERS!  

Your life matters to me, but more importantly, and more powerfully, it matters to the Lord Jesus Christ! I don’t know if you've ever been introduced to the God of the Bible. In the Bible, God's very love letter to all human beings, God's words are written for us personally.

The Bible says in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life! 

You see Astro - God doesn't just love you - He SO LOVES YOU. God sent His son came to this earth and became flesh so that he could pay for our sins in order that we could have a new, everlasting life in him. You mentioned that I saved you. I could never save you. All I can do is point you to THE ONE who does save... Jesus Christ!

This is what the Bible says in 1 John 4:9: And this was manifested the love of God toward us (That's you Astro) because God sent his only begotten son into the world that we might live through him.

Jesus loves you. He takes away your pain, and forgives your sin.

John 10:10:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (God's plan for you Astro!) 

Astro, Christ also came to do much more for you, something you have tried to find for a long time! He gives you peace.

Isaiah 61:1-3: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me -To preach good tidings unto thee meek, - He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted - to Proclaim Liberty to the captives and  - opening of the prison to the captive to comfort all that mourn.

Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The word sin simply means missing the mark (or target). When we continually miss the target it causes all kinds of problems.... like suicide.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:21: For He (God the Father) has made Him (Jesus the Son) to be sin for us who knew no sin, that 

we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (That's you Astro) 

John 3:17:  For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. (That's you Astro) Jesus is the one who saves you and is able to help you and make you whole.

Did you notice how many scriptures references started with the word "for"? In the original Greek language of the New Testament that little three letter word literally means: Absolutely Without Doubt. You can trust Jesus to keep His word to you.

The Lord does not ever force anyone to have a relationship with him! But He stands at the door of our heart and knocks. He loves us and wants to save us, but we have to ask Him to forgive our sins and receive Him as our Savior. Then He never leaves us or forsakes us, ever! And He begins a work in us that He continues till we die and go to be with him in heaven. 

Jesus loves you, Astro! It sounds like Jesus was knocking at your heart's door the day I came to your school. Ask him to show you a better way to live. He will save you! The Lord knows your heart, just ask Him to forgive you and save your life forever.
