Do you suffer from anxiety attacks? Do you understand what causes these attacks?
You may be missing a part of the puzzle. Everything in the universe comes in "twos"... good and evil, male and female, physical and spiritual. Your brain is physical, your mind is spiritual. For human beings to have peace of mind we must be plugged into the power source.
If you have ever been around any Church, you have heard: "Christ is the answer", but what is the question?
The question all people ask at one time or another is: Why don't I have peace of mind?
Our
Minds are very fickle things - the MIND is easily shaken from day to
day. One day, your MIND (where your thoughts and emotions dwell) can be
perfectly upbeat and happy only to find itself in the dumps and feeling
gloomy within 24 hours - it is a SEESAW up there sometimes. ~Romans 12:2
It
has been a great blessing in my life to be able to walk in a
consistency in my mind, and for years I thought perhaps it was genetic
since my mother was such a strong minded woman - she was
always the same it seems, not easily shaken in her mind. HOWEVER, I
found out that IT IS NOT GENETIC - but rather it is INHERITED since I
CHOSE TO IMITATE HER LIFE OF FAITH. ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN.

Thessalonians 2:2 - That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word as that the day of Christ is at
hand.
There
is only ONE WAY to keep your mind from being SHAKEN on a daily basis by
the trouble of life, the uncertainty of things, the unfairness of this
age, the anger of the population around us. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY. YOU
MUST ALWAYS STAY LASER FOCUSED on THE KINGDOM OF GOD! ~Matthew 6:30-34
Jesus said this is the ONLY WAY to NOT BE TROUBLED. STAY FOCUSED on HIM that you may have peace. Let NOTHING ELSE be your focus
but THE DAY OF THE LORD. ~John 16:33
I saw this in my mother who lost a child and her husband
to the grave
within a four year period, her husband died at age 39 and left her a 36
year old widow with 5 children and no income... YET SHE NEVER WAS SHAKEN
IN HER MIND. SHE UNDERSTOOD what this life was all about - THE DAY OF
THE LORD.
So,
why are people today NOT FOCUSED on the DAY OF THE LORD? Because they
know so little about it. They HEAR SO LITTLE ABOUT IT from the pulpit.
TODAY'S PULPITS are focused on THIS LIFE and making THIS LIFE BETTER and
it is focused on MAKING YOU A BETTER PERSON and it is a very SELFISH
GOSPEL being preached today with NO FOCUS on THAT DAY, that GREAT
SABBATH DAY that is about to dawn upon the horizon of mankind. WHEN YOU
DON'T UNDERSTAND The KINGDOM MESSAGE then you cannot understand the
PRESENT DARKNESS and how to REMAIN STABLE in all of the shaking. ~1 Corinthians 2:6-12
Just
as a light bulb will not give its light without a power source, our
Light will not shine without being plugged into THE POWER SOURCE which
is Christ the Lord.
"Let your gentleness (forbearance: patient self-control; restraint from negative thought or action) be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:5-7
