King of All Nations

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. ~ Luke 1:32

Many adherents of British Israelism and/or Christian Identity believe 2 Chronicles 7:18 refers to the British monarchy. However, there is only one descendant of King David worthy of the throne... the man Jesus Christ. ~ Revelation 22:16

A kingdom consists of four elements… 1) the king’s domain, or territory over which he reigns, 2) citizens or subjects, 3) laws, and 4) administrators to teach and administer the king’s law, or government, with equity (no respecter of persons) and justice for all (same punishment for same crime). In an earthly kingdom, the people die for the king; in the heavenly Kingdom (the one Jesus came preaching), the King dies for the people.

Jesus Christ is the King of all the nations because of Who He is. Jesus has not overthrown another king to make His claim. He is King lawfully by divine appointment… “the earth belongs to the LORD, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1). God the Father has decreed Him to be King: “But as for ME, I have installed MY King upon Zion (a permanent capitol)… and I will give the nations for your inheritance.” (read all of Psalm 2). God has anointed and sealed Him to His regal office. God has set the crown upon His head.

Jesus came to earth to announce the Kingdom of God. The time has come for Christians to demonstrate to all nations there is a superior form of Kingdom government... Right and Wrong vs Legal and Illegal.  After His resurrection, Jesus spoke to his disciples saying, ”All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”… (Matthew 28:18-20)

Men are only authorized to administer the law of Right and Wrong, not make their own laws of legal and illegal. Everyone knows right from wrong... we know stealing is wrong because we don't want our stuff stolen. We know abortion and murder are wrong because we want our life. In the Kingdom of God there are only two branches of government… administrative and judicial… no legislative branch is needed because man cannot improve upon the law of God.

Ecclesiastes 12:13: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." The “kings” of the earth are in their positions for one purpose only… to administer the Law of God. They have no authority, even though they have power, to go above and beyond the Divine Law. Just because the “kings” of the nations are in rebellion to the Kingdom of God and His righteous rule, does not negate His authority. One may ask, if Jesus has all authority, why doesn’t He use it to subdue the nations by force? That’s typical carnal thinking… "might makes right". Jesus taught that His Kingdom is not of this worldly way.

All actions originate in the heart (Mark 7:20-23; James 4:1), and acknowledging Jesus Christ as King must begin in the heart. Instead of ruling by force as man does, from the top down, Jesus sets up His throne where no earthly king can break in and steal - in men’s hearts. No nation can survive forever unless Jesus Christ is acknowledged as King and the people embrace His Law which insures personal and national peace and prosperity.

The written Word of God is the only standard for earthly kings’ rule: “Now it shall come to pass when he (earthly administrators) sits on the throne (holds an office) of his kingdom, he shall WRITE for himself a copy of this (God’s) LAW on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests (judges in the Law). And it shall be WITH him, and he shall read it all the days of his life that he may LEARN to fear (respect) the LORD his God, by CAREFULLY OBSERVING ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LAW and these statutes (Deuteronomy 17:18-19). The earthly kings, as well as his people, come under God’s Law.

For those who doubt that the Kingdom of God is a reality, the Bible emphasizes that all people are Christ’s subjects in a variety of ways.

First, Jesus speaks to Nicodemus about the necessity of a “new birth”, a comprehensive transformation of the carnal nature of man (John 3:5-7). Mankind is not ’sick’ and will get better with scientific advancements, rather mankind is “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1). Only the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit can make a dead man live. The fundamental issue is ethical, not medical or psychological.

Second, the written Word of God must be acknowledged as the only rule of faith and practice. Law is not found in the vote of the people (if voting changed things it would be illegal), the decree of the courts, or the pronouncements of rulers. The Law of God is Christ’s the King’s Law; therefore, it must be obeyed to live. God gives man only two choices… Life or Death. Furthermore, being set free in Jesus Christ liberates neither citizen nor ruler from the guidance, obligations, and benefits of the Law (Romans 3:31), only the final curse (penalty) of the Law (Galatians 3:13).

Third, the regenerate mind is renewed (Romans 12:2). Every individual operates from a particular view of the world in his mind, and evaluates all life from this perspective… meaning his chosen religious presuppositions. True Christianity is not a religion, it’s the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Prior to acknowledging Christ as King, all life is seen from man’s carnal perspective: “For as a man thinks within himself, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). The new creature in Christ will start to evaluate life from the perspective of the Word of God, and began to think God’s thoughts, “taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Fourth, those who do not want Jesus as King “will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them (not by force, but with His mercy and love) … and those who are with Him are called the chosen and faithful” (Revelation 17:14).

How then, can the blessings of real peace, prosperity, and happiness be secured which will assure liberty and guarantee justice for all? King Jesus answered this question when He said, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness (which is the perfection of the administration of the Laws of that Kingdom); and all these things (the needs of life of which He had been speaking) will be added (that is, given) unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

This is a call for all Christians, from the least to the greatest, to restore the administration which God established over the Kingdom. God gave us the Laws of Righteousness which His people are instructed to administer. This Divine Charter of National Administration of establishing equity, justice, and liberty is only possible when the Divine Law is kept personally and nationally. And while God never granted man (or any group of men) the right to make law, He absolutely enjoins all nations to keep, observe, and administer His Laws. Learn the Divine Law, teach it to your children and grandchildren. Be the “salt and light” God called you to be. Become an overcomer, even as Jesus Christ overcame, and sit with Him on His throne (James 1:12; Revelation 3:21). Pledge your allegiance to the Kingdom of God.

Christ himself says the Law is to be fulfilled on earth. Our earthly life is a ‘dress rehearsal’ for Kingdom service. Christians should demand that all government be based on the firm foundation of God's Laws of RIGHT and WRONG, and abolish corrupt government "laws" of legal and illegal.

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19)

Our Father which art in heaven… Thy Kingdom come… Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." ~ Matthew 28:18

The Kingdom is a prepared place for a prepared people. What part of ALL AUTHORITY ON EARTH don't we understand?
