Christainty, the number one religion in the world, is divided between Eastern and Western theology. In these two divisions there are six branches:
Catholicism, Protestantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Anglicanism, Oriental
Orthodoxy, and Assyrians. Restorationism is sometimes considered the
seventh branch.
According to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, there exist roughly 43,000 Christian denominations worldwide in 2012. That is up from 500 in 1800 and 39,000 in 2008 and this number is expected to grow to 55,000 by 2025.
Why do human beings keep creating their own false religions when the simple answer is written in the Volume of the Book... "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." ~ Ephesians 4:4-6
There are over 4,000
recognized religions in the world. These religions consist of churches,
congregations, faith groups, cults, tribes, cultures, and movements. There's only one empty tomb.
"But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god (idol) of this age
has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the
glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:3-5
There seems to be a
lot of confusion about who Satan is and what powers he may possess.
Organization religion (Churchanity) teaches that Satan the Devil is an all powerful
"god" of this world or age and the creator of evil.
Who is in charge of good and evil? Isaiah 45:7 gives us the correct answer... "I (Yahweh God) form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."
Contrary
to the thinking of Churchanity, Yahweh God is the maker and sustainer
of every created thing... including Satan as it is written in Colossians 1:16.
Satan is not a god in the sense that he is equal to the one true God. Satan is an angel, a messenger of God, who was
created to be a tool in the Master's hand. Satan is a dog on a leash and
only does the bidding and pleasure of his Master with the speed and eagerness of a
trained circus animal.
Though
mighty in power and deed, yet Satan is held in check by the sovereign grip of the One and
Only Almighty God. By the power of God, Lucifer the Light Bringer, was
given the mind of a beast and acts on his hallucinations.
The
birth of God's spiritual children requires that they be perfected in an
environment of good and evil. If human beings were awash in syrupy
goodness, without the experience of evil, the spirit child would never
come to maturity. Just as in physical earthly birth, the heavenly spiritual birth is a process that requires pain which we call "evil."
Because
of the birth process, the administration of God's evil is of extreme
importance. To bring forth a mature spirit, evil must be displayed on
earth and applied in precise doses according to exacting schedules. This
critical task could only be entrusted to a supernatural creature of
superlative capacity. Thus, God selected Lucifer, one of His seven
archangels, to become Satan the Adversary and bring evil to earth.
Satan
created the "ever-burning hell" doctrine to deceive people into believing
that our Heavenly Father is a mean and cruel God, not worthy of praise and worship.
With the aid of Churchanity, that false doctrine is the centerpiece of
most Sunday sermons.
Every Halloween Satan and his demons convene to make sure people stay deceived. It's their mission to cause God's people to depart from God's instructions.
The
true Church that Jesus established is made of Godly people, not
denominations. God's people can have fellowship with one another, but
their spiritual walks are independent paths sovereignly directed by
their Heavenly Father.
One of the schemes of Satan is the art of substitution. He is very skilled in counterfeiting the word of God, making it appear real. Satan is in the religious business. He developed an imitation of Christianity.
Listed below are 13 substitutes of Satan:
- False Trinity - dragon, beast, and false prophet (Revelation 16:13)
- False Christs - self-proclaimed messiahs (Matthew 24:4-5)
- False Church (Revelation 2:9)
- False Apostles (2 Corinthians 11:13)

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil." ~ Proverbs 3:5-7
