Coming of the Holy Spirit - Acts 2:1-4
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided (like a cow's hoof) tongues (like a serpent's tongue, flickering), as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues (other human languages so the mixed crowd could understand what Peter was saying on the day of Pentecost, not gibberish that no one could comprehend), as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Sunday, May 28, 2023 is the Day set aside to remember and give thanks for the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit to guide us, we cannot understand the Bible. God reveals knowledge little by little.
As it is written in Isaiah 28:9-11
“Whom will he teach knowledge?
And whom will he make to understand the message?
Those just weaned from milk?
Those just drawn from the breasts?
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little.”
Organized
religion has rejected all of the Feast of the Lord except Pentecost.
What a shame that most Church goers are not taught the whole counsel of
