Noah and the Flood

An image depicting Noah's Ark from the biblical story

Many critics of the Bible like to point out apparent discrepancies in Bible narratives. One story that is hard to believe is Noah and the flood. Noah was a descendant of Adam, meaning Adam is Noah's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, as Noah is listed as the ninth generation from Adam in the biblical genealogy; Noah's father, Lamech, is the direct link in this lineage.

Contrary to Churchanity doctrines, Adam and Eve are not the progenitors of the whole human race. If you believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans, you need to re-read Genesis 1 and 2. There were other races (the Bible refers to race as "families") on the earth long before Adam arrived. We know that Cain took a wife from the land of Nod. ~ Genesis 4:15-17

We also know that the phrase "kind after kind" appears more than 30 times in Scripture. Today, we know kind after kind means DNA. White people only produce white babies, black people have black babies, dogs have dogs, cats have cats, etc.

And if you believe the three sons of Noah repopulated the earth with all the different races, then "kind after kind" is meaningless. The truth is the flood of Noah only destroyed the wicked, not innocent people who were not in the transgression. And what was the transgression? Intermarriage with "strangers." (other races or nationalities) ~ 1 Kings 11:1-8 & Ezra 10:10

Noah's descendants eventually intermarried with other races because DNA tests reveal multiple ancestors from all parts of the world.

What about Neanderthals Humans?
Neanderthals were very early (archaic) humans who lived in Europe and Western Asia from about 400,000 years ago until they became extinct about 40,000 years ago, or intermarried with Adamites and over time their physical appearance changed.
Svante Pääbo won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2022 for his discoveries concerning the genome of the Neanderthal, of extinct hominids and human evolution.

Neanderthal humans were most likely created in the Genesis chapter one creation because God created male and female. In Genesis chapter two when Adam was formed and became a living being, Adam was was alone. He had no female companion until Eve was created for him. There were other people on the earth long before Adam, perhaps millions of years. We know Cain married a woman from the land of Nod (the word Nod means wandering, like in hunter-gatherers). ~ Genesis 4:16

Is God Real?

First, let's get something straight. Churchianity is not Christianity.

Q. If God is real why doesn't He come down from heaven and show us?
A. He did! God sent His Son. We killed Him

Q. Did God create the heavens and earth in six 24 hour days?
A. No

Q. Is the story of Noah and the flood true?
A. Yes

This Is For You "Logical" Thinkers

Asking if God is real is like asking is the wind real. You can't see the wind or know where it comes from, but you know wind is real because you can feel and see the power of wind. Likewise, you can see the exquisite design of nature and know for certain there is a Creator. The cell phone you use is proof positive there's a cell phone maker. Stuff doesn't just happen, use your logical brain.Yeah, well where did God come from? We don't know, our brain is not that big.

There are a lot of unsolved mysteries in the Bible. God only reveals knowledge on a need to know basis. Example: Jesus is the only begotten son of God. Begotten son means a son who was produced through procreation, or fathered. In the Bible, "only begotten son" is used to describe Jesus Christ as the unique Son of God. Who was Jesus' heavenly mother? Does God the Father have a wife? We don't know the answers to those questions. All we know from the Bible is Mary was his earthly mother.

How did Jesus pre-exist? We don't know how to explain John 1:1... In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The original word for God is Elohim, a uni-plural word like team, church, family. The Body of Christ consists of many members, but all one body. God is not a trinity, God is a unity. Jesus is not his own "father." When Jesus said: "I and My Father are one" (family), He meant it. ~John 10:30

Unlike man, God has never been alone. Because God is a Spirit being He has union with Himself and has always existed in a loving relationship. Therefore, there is no need for God to have a wife or companion.

The pagan religions often portrayed their false gods as having wives, consorts, and love interests, but the One True God is unlike the worthless idols of paganism.
.

If you don't know where you came from or where you're going, you need a Guide. Jesus said, "Follow Me," not join some Church or try to find the right path on your own.

Jesus was born as a human being, suffered and died, and rose from the dead. Jesus KNOWS exactly how you think, feel, and act. He's been there, done that. Jesus is the only person qualified to give you advice. Listen to Him!

What Does God Expect From Man?

The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. ~ Micah 6:8 (New Living Translation) Is that asking too much?

Can Women Be Pastors, Bishops, or Deacons?

Abigail: Bible | Jewish Women's Archive

Women Can Hold High Office. Deborah Was a Judge, But Not a Priest.

As the only female judge mentioned in the Bible, Deborah is known for being a compassionate leader (of which there weren't many in Biblical times). She worked to purge the nation of those who kept Israel spiritually complacent and under slavery to the Canaanites, returning to worship of the one true God.

Women in the Bible played crucial roles in biblical narratives: Women were not just side characters; they were central to many of the Bible's most pivotal moments.

That being said, here are a few core reasons why we should study and reflect on women depicted in the Bible.

Women of the Bible have:

  • Contributed to the fulfillment of God's plan: From Sarah to Mary, women played integral roles in God's overarching plan for humanity.
  • Left a lasting legacy and impact: Their stories continue to inspire and guide believers today.
  • Inspired and empowered others: Through their faith and actions, biblical women have motivated countless generations.
  • Served as examples of righteousness and virtue: Their lives can provide lessons in how to live righteously.
  • Encountered transformative encounters with God: Stories of women like Hannah and Mary Magdalene show profound moments of divine interaction.
  • Nurtured and cared for their families: From the very beginning, women like Eve played essential roles in the family unit.
  • Embraced their unique callings and giftings: Each woman, from Deborah to Ruth, had a unique role and purpose in the biblical narrative.

Ultimately, learning about women of the Bible can help us understand and apply powerful lessons about the value of resilience, trust, and faith that we see in women of the Bible.

Who Are Some of the Great Women in the Bible?

These prominent women include the Matriarchs Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah, Miriam the prophetess, Deborah the Judge, Huldah the prophetess, Abigail (who married David), Rahab, and Esther. A common phenomenon in the Bible is the pivotal role that women take in subverting man-made power structures.

Does The Bible Allow Women To Be Pastors, Bishops or Deacons?

Reading through Scripture, a few passages stand out that directly speak to the role of women in the church:

1 Corinthians 11:3-12, 14:34-35, 1 Timothy 2:11-15 and Titus 1, 2. These passages are the foundation for the conclusion that women cannot serve as pastors in churches. God created women to be a helpmate to a man. According to 1 Timothy 2:12, it is not considered lawful for a woman to "rule over" a man, as it states that a woman should not teach or exercise authority over a man. However, none of these scriptures forbid women from teaching their children or speaking in church giving their unique God-given insights.

What Does the Bible Say About Lois and Eunice?

“I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also” (2 Timothy 1:5). As we see, Lois and Eunice were sincere in their faith and they were able to pass this down to Timothy. Without godly women there would be no church.

Can Women Be Pastors, Bishops, or Deacons? What Does the Bible Say?

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach. ~ 1 Timothy 3:2

Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. ~ 1 Timothy 3:12
