What Really Happened in the Garden of Eden?
God made humans all of one blood. There is only one race.. the human race, but where did all the different skin colors come from?
Contrary to Churchanity doctrines, Adam and Eve are not the progenitors of the whole human race. Eve is the mother of all living Adamites. If
you believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans,
you need to re-read Genesis 1 and 2. There were other races (the Bible
refers to race as "families of man") on the earth long before Adam arrived.
The people in chapter one were created male and female and told to be fruitful and multiply. Genesis
1:28: And God blessed them (plural), and God
said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and “replenish” the earth,
and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. In 1611 the word replenish
meant to populate the earth. Adam was formed from the dust of the
ground in Genesis chapter 2, and even then he had no wife to "populate"
with until God gave Eve to him as a suitable mate. We
know that Cain took a wife from the land of Nod. ~ Genesis 4:15-17
Adam was not just a man, he was The Man through whom Jesus Christ would come. God instructed
Adam in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, astronomy,
engineering, metallurgy, architecture, hygiene and sanitation, and all things necessary to create a civilization to fulfill
God's purpose for all mankind. And Adam taught these skills to his sons. Cain taught
the people of Nod what he had learned from Adam and built a city. ~ Genesis 4:17
The serpent in the Garden of Eden is described as an herpetological apocryphal creature. Herpetological refers to the study of reptiles and amphibians which are animals known for "creeping" or "crawling."
Apocryphal means doubtful authenticity, although widely circulated as being true highlights the existence of folklore, myths, and inaccurate accounts about a talking snake.
There is more to the "snake in the grass" and his conversations with Eve... much more. This snake called Nachash shows up one day while Adam was tending the garden. He engages Eve in a conversation about what God had said concerning
the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Eve knew very well what God had
said to Adam about that particular Tree. We know very well what God says... but like Eve we
don't believe it because we have not experienced it. Albert Einstein is quoted as saying, "All true learning is experience. Everything else is just information."
Satan, disguised as
this crafty, subtle, bright, very intelligent man placed the thought in
Eve's mind that she was missing out on something... that God was holding
back vital information.
As a noun, nachash
means serpent.
As a verb,
nachash
means a diviner of secret knowledge.
As an adjective,
nachash
means a shining man - not a talking snake. Shining man in the sense of a bright, highly intelligent being, and probably handsome. The Bible describes Nachash as more cunning that any other creature... making use of clever and indirect methods to achieve something.
The Bible does not state an exact number of days Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. Most traditional views suggest it was a very brief time—ranging from a single day to a few weeks or years—while some extra-biblical texts like the Book of Jubilees estimate it was seven years. My guess would be three and half years because that was the length of Jesus's ministry on earth... and He is called the last Adam. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:45. From the book of Jasher it took Satan three years to convince Eve to disobey God. The Book of Jasher is mentioned twice in the Old Testament (in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18) so I think it is trustworthy. After Eve was deceived by Nachach she told her husband, "WOW! Adam, I learned something new today"... and their lives changed dramatically. Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. ~1 Timothy 2:14
Adam loved Eve so much he was not willing to abandon her and took her punishment on himself... similar to what Christ did for all mankind. However, Adam used a very poor choice of words when replying to God about the situation. ~ Genesis 3:12
Eve blamed the serpent and Adam blamed Eve, and in a sort of back handed way he blamed God for "The woman whom You gave to be with me." Mankind never likes to take responsibility for disobedience. It's easier to blame others and then complain about the mess they brought on themselves.
“And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were
naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.” ~ Genesis 3:7
If Eve sinned by simply eating an "apple", why were Adam and Eve ashamed to be naked and covered their private parts? Of course I can't prove this scenario from Scripture alone. I think God is too modest to speak bluntly about sex. He left it up to us to read between the lines and figure it out. God wants us to concentrate on the consequences of disobedience, not on the sin Eve committed.
Let's not be too hard on Eve, remember Satan was able to persuade a 3rd of the angels to rebel against God. Eve was introduced to evil by God's design and purpose. Adam and Eve only knew good, but evil gave them a choice. Otherwise, they would be human robots without the power of choice. God loves mankind so much that He trusts us to make right choices.
Genesis 3:16 is where God tells the woman (Eve) after the exile from the Garden of Eden that He will greatly increase her pain in childbirth.
Genesis 4:1: Eve believes the birth of Cain is from the LORD (Yahweh)
and said, "I have gotten a man from the Lord." Upon giving birth to her
first son, Cain, she expresses gratitude and
belief that God fulfilled His promise of a descendant who would overcome
evil, mistakenly thinking Cain was that promised "seed" or
savior, with the name Cain itself meaning "acquired" or "gotten,"
signifying her hope in this new "man." It highlights the fact that
humans often mistake the purposes of God.
Who is Cain's biological father? Were Cain and Abel actually fraternal twins?
Fraternal twins (also called dizygotic twins) result from the fertilization of two separate eggs with two different sperm during the same pregnancy. If Adam truly was the father of Cain, why is Cain's name missing from the genealogy of Adam? 1 Chronicles 1:1 and Luke 3:38
Does the seed of the "serpent" have living
descendants on earth today? Why did Jesus call Judas a devil? ~ John 6:70-71. Was Jesus making reference to Cain in John 8:44?
The
serpent "seed" does not have to be the literal offspring of Nachach.
The behavior of people who exhibit Satan-like beliefs and actions is our
first clue. Satan's disguises and rhetoric are so convincing that the
only way we can be sure is "by their fruits you will know them." ~ Matthew 7:20
The Christian Bible gives us a glimpse of the characteristics of "reptilian people" by their cold-blooded and manipulative behavior, and desire to control a global power structure whether religious or governmental. Satan is able to transform himself into an Angel of Light. ~2 Corinthians 11:14
In the first promise
of the gospel in Genesis 3:15, God cryptically promised that the
offspring of the woman would bruise/crush the head of the serpent. By
contrast, the serpent's offspring would merely bruise/crush the heel of the woman's offspring.
One would strike a mortal blow, while the other would merely wound. The
offspring of the woman is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Although, the seed
of the serpent was able to bruise/crucify Jesus, He rose from the
grave on the third day to fulfill Scripture and ended Satan's power forever.
The Bible states in Ecclesiastes 1:9 that there is nothing new under the
sun. One meaning of this phrase is that throughout human history people
have lived and died. Satan tries to convince people life is
meaningless... you live, you die, nothing to hope for. When Jesus came,
He stomped the head of the serpent and broke the cycle of death.
Ezekiel 28:18-19 describes how Satan's influence over man will cease to exist. Revelation 20:10 and Matthew 10:28 reveals how Satan will be tormented forever and ever.
The Bible shows that Satan will not die, but rather that he will suffer torment. After Satan's deception following the 1,000 years,
he will be “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone” where he “will be
tormented day and night forever and ever.”
In Matthew 3:7; 12:34; 23:33 and Luke 3:7, Jesus calls the Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees "serpents and brood of vipers." Why would Jesus say this if it was not true? We can see why the high and mighty self righteous religious leaders hated Jesus. He did not show them proper respect. Jesus must be put to death for this grievous offense.
When Eve sinned by eating the "Forbidden Fruit," she broke covenant with God. Worse than that, in breaking the covenant with God, she formed a covenant with the serpent,
i.e. Satan. Because of Adam's love for Eve, he left the garden with her.
The covenant between Adam, Eve, and the serpent is not just Adam and Eve. All those who
break covenant with God make a covenant with "the Adversary"... that serpent of old called the devil and Satan. ~ Revelation 20:1-3
Jesus never broke covenant with his Father, but when He took the sins of the whole world on Himself it was so horrible that He felt abandoned by His Father ~ Matthew 27:46
Be very careful what doctrines you ingest. There are serious consequences for eating poisoned fruit. Remember Snow White?
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~ 2 Timothy 2:15
